Item Description

This beautiful and unique 3D ceramic painting, also known as ceramic relief art, features raised surfaces that create a depth-enhancing visual effect for viewers. The San Telmo piece represents one of Buenos Aires' oldest neighbourhoods, named after Saint Pedro González Telmo. Known as the birthplace of tango, San Telmo has a rich history, filled with cobblestone streets lined with cafes, antique shops, and vibrant street art. In 2005, the artist-run gallery Appetite opened in San Telmo, drawing significant media attention and leading to the establishment of numerous contemporary art galleries in the area. Rolling Stone and The New York Times noted its emergence as a contemporary art hub, with La Nacion reporting around 30 galleries by 2008. This artwork was purchased in one of the prestigious art galleries in San Telmo, Buenos Aires, Argentina. The painting measures approximately 18 inches wide and 21.5 inches high and comes ready to hang with hooks attached.
